Choose a photo from your library, snap a new one, or pick from Pentire's built-in collection. Then set the look, the piece shape, and how detailed you want it — none of it is locked in, so you can change any of it later.

Your photos never leave your phone
Most apps that turn a photo into something else upload it to a server first. Pentire doesn't — the cutting happens on your device. And since that's the whole point, we didn't put a tracker in the rest of the app either.
No upload, ever
Your photo is read, analyzed, and cut into stickers by on-device processing on your own iPhone or iPad. It's never sent to us or to anyone else — there's no server to send it to. Pick "Selected Photos" in iOS and Pentire only ever sees the one picture you chose.
No analytics, no tracking
There's no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no advertising or attribution SDK in the app. We can't see which puzzles you play, which features you use, or how long you play. Pentire never asks for your advertising identifier, so you'll never get a tracking prompt from it.
No ads and no account
No banners, no interstitials, no rewarded video, no sponsored puzzles. No sign-up, no email, no profile — you download it and start playing. One optional upgrade funds the app, and you never have to buy it.
Works in airplane mode
Because everything is computed locally, the whole app works with no signal: import a photo, generate brand-new art, play any of the 60 built-in puzzles. Your puzzles, progress and settings live on your device, not in a cloud account.

No. When you import a photo, Pentire uses on-device AI to cut the image into sticker pieces. The processing happens entirely on your iPhone — your photos are never uploaded and never leave your device. Read our privacy policy.
No to all three. Pentire ships with no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no advertising or attribution SDK, so we can't see which puzzles you play or how long you play. It never requests the advertising identifier, so there's no App Tracking Transparency prompt, and there are no ads of any kind — no banners, no interstitials, no rewarded video, no sponsored puzzles. In the current version, two things and nothing else. On launch the app downloads one small static settings file from pentire.solutionflare.com — the same file for everyone, with no query parameters and no identifier — so a feature can be turned off or a notice posted without an app update. And if you buy Pentire Plus, Apple processes the payment and RevenueCat validates the receipt so you can restore it. Your photos, puzzles, progress, settings and streaks never leave the device. The whole app works in airplane mode.
Yes — Pentire is free to download, with no ads and no account required. The free tier includes all 60 built-in puzzles at Starter, Easy, and Medium difficulty, unlimited on-demand art generation (you can keep up to 5 creations saved), the Natural and Squares piece shapes, the Photo and Flat color looks, free unlimited hints, and your first 2 photo puzzles. An optional Pentire Plus upgrade — a one-time lifetime purchase or a monthly subscription — unlocks unlimited photo puzzles, the Hard and Expert difficulties, the Polygon and Puzzle piece shapes, the Cartoon and Pastel looks, all 14 themes, and unlimited saved puzzles.
Yes — nothing is locked in. Reopen any puzzle and the options sheet lets you pick a different difficulty, piece shape, or look, and Pentire re-cuts the picture on the spot. Each combination keeps its own saved progress, so a half-finished cut is still waiting exactly as you left it.
That's the Flat color look doing what it's designed to do: it gives every sticker one solid tone, paint-by-number style. Because each sticker averages the area it covers, the fewer pieces a puzzle has the less of the photo survives — a 12-piece Starter cut becomes a dozen large blocks of color. Switch the look to Photo to keep the picture's real detail, or raise the difficulty so Flat color has enough pieces to work with. Pentire warns you when you pick a combination that will average your picture away.
Yes. Every built-in and generated puzzle has a short share code. Send it to a friend, they enter it in Pentire, and they get the exact same puzzle to solve on their own device — no accounts, no uploads. Photo puzzles are the one exception: your photo never leaves your device, so they can't be shared.
No. Once a puzzle is created it plays fully offline, and importing a photo is processed on-device — so no connection is required to play.
